Welcome to the official website of KVS Ernakulam Region, one of the 25 regions of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Established in April 2012, the Ernakulam Region is committed to advancing excellence in education and nurturing young minds.

Situated in Kochi, popularly known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea,” the region oversees 42 Kendriya Vidyalayas, including two double-shift Kendriya Vidyalayas. This comprises 41 Kendriya Vidyalayas across Kerala, fondly known as “God’s Own Country,” along with KV Kavaratti in the Lakshadweep Islands. The region caters to the educational needs of 53,000+ students and is supported by 2,300+ dedicated employees.
